Three-day workshop and training session

Government College Women University Faisalabad's Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) took a proactive stance in fostering professional development. It meticulously organized a three-day workshop and training session, from December 18 to December 20, 2023. This initiative was specifically designed to cater to the educational needs of Program Team (PT) members, attracting participation from nominated individuals representing diverse academic departments. Throughout this comprehensive training program, the QEC Directorate meticulously covered all facets, formalities, and prerequisites essential for the creation of an academic Self-Assessment Report (SAR). Their guidance was centered on the responsibility of Program Team (PT) members to diligently gather and integrate information and feedback, aligning closely with the guidelines outlined in the Self-Assessment Manual issued by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). The training sessions were not merely procedural; they were designed to provide an in-depth understanding of the pivotal role played by Self-Assessment Reports. The QEC emphasized how SARs serve as a crucial tool in evaluating whether an academic program aligns with its designated educational objectives and performance benchmarks. Beyond compliance, the aim of SARs is to enhance the quality of programs and contribute to the improvement of students' learning experiences. Furthermore, these reports facilitate valuable feedback on educational standards and their broader scope. Wrapping up these enlightening sessions, the QEC conveyed gratitude to all participants for their active engagement and valuable contributions. This recognition underscored the collective commitment to ongoing improvements in academic quality and standards.
